Hello movie lovers! I know it's been a while, but I'd like to update you on what's been going on and then I've got some new reviews for ya! I finally got that 9-5 that I've been looking for, that combined with my own business, Rock Island Management, which has me managing local bands and hosting local shows here on Long Island, has kept me very busy, but I have not forgotten about The Ultimate Movie Review. I believe I have found a time for weekly updates to finally resume! That being said, running two businesses and living on Long Island isn't cheap, even with a 9-5, but I still refuse to accept financial donations. Six years ago when I started this blog, it actually took some encouragement. I was asking, "who am I and why will anyone care what I think about movies and TV shows?" My friends reminded me that I was always the one they came to for on advice about movies, and even strangers on Rotten Tomatoes, Flixster, and IMDB would message me, just based on my reviews. Their comments made my day, people I didn't even know were telling me I should open up my reviews to the net, so people who weren't active on sites like that could see my reviews and comment on them. While the discussions and comments have never gotten to the level I would have liked, I never in a million years would have imagined that my link would have been clicked a hundred thousand times, I am eternally grateful and humbled. I know it has been a very long time since I have updated everyone on what is going on with myself and the blog, and I do apologize for that, so without further a do, let me catch you up... In May 2016, I finally graduated from college, however getting a job on Long Island has been impossible to date. As a result I have had to go out and do what I've done in my younger years to make money; tutoring, odd jobs, managing & booking local rock bands ( https://www.facebook.com/rockislandmanagement ), and buying & selling on eBay.
